
30th Anniversary Triple Decade Highlights
Dr. Michael J. Love, Sr. Pastor
1991-1998
On January 13, 1991, Trinity Baptist Community Church was founded by Dr. Michael J. Love, Pastor and 1st Lady Dr. Karen C. Love. The church met at the Oak Knoll Elementary school with 13 members.
Trinity Baptist Community Church International launched the following ministries:
TBCCI Music and Arts Ministries
Adult Choir, Children’s Choir, and Sign Ministry.
Multicultural Mentoring Ministry for Caucasian families adopting Black Children.
Men’s, Women and Marriage Ministries
TBCCI Choir Concerts in the Park – Cary Bandshell
TBCCI Charity Golf Event raising funds for Feed the Children Ministries.
International Students Weekend – hosting students from 20 countries
TBCCI TV/Cable Weekly Broadcasts
1998-2006
The Haitian Missions Ministry was established. TBCCI missions provided. Evangelism, Training Sessions and Jail Ministries.
Expanded Multicultural Mentoring Ministries to both the suburbs and internationally.
TBCCI received awards from the Chicago Tribune, WYLL Radio, NW Herald Newspaper and Moody Radio.
TBCCI TV/Cable Broadcasts expanded to the Chicagoland and Suburban Counties
In 2005, TBCCI purchased the Crystal Lake Campus Debt-Free
4.2 Acres, 6 Buildings which culminate 25,000 sq/ft.
Parking Lot was Paved
Renovated new sanctuary (currently serves as Chapel Building), Gym, and Compassion Center.
TBCCI launched the McHenry County Helping Hands Jail Ministry. Dr. Michael Love serves and Chaplain of the Ministry. As an extension of the ministry, TBCCI sponsored and hosted the Angel Tree Ministry Celebration.
TBCCI organized a Food Truck/Pantry Ministry. The events took place in the Gym and Compassions Center. Over 300 families were blessed.
TBCCI ministries were expanded to area-wide Men’s, Women’s, and Marriage Conferences.
2006-2013
TBCCI established the Performing Arts Ministries. TBCCI Performing Arts Ministries includes the Adult & Children Praise Dancers, Adult and Children Praise Signers, Drama Ministries, Mime Ministries and Legacy Presentations.
Expansion of the International Ministries were launched in the Dominican Republic and Orissa India (100 home churches).
TBCCI organized the TBCCI Student Impact Ministries for teen and college student discipleship.
The McHenry County Jail Ministries was augmented.
Increased number of volunteers in the Women’s Jail Ministry
Dr. Love awarded: National Sheriff’s Association’s “Chaplain of the Year, 2007
In 2010, TBCCI built the TBCCI Worship Center: 30,000 sq/ft facility – Debt Free
Established TBCCI Giving Tree Ministries and Angel Tree Ministries for Christmas Outreach
Launched WYLL 1160 AM Radio Broadcast Weekly (Life Lessons w/Bishop Love) reaching Chicagoland and sections of Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan (10 million listeners)
2014-Present
Launched the TBCCI Compassion Center which includes clothing store/household goods. All items free to the public.
Video broadcasting with Total Living Network (TLN) in Chicagoland and San Francisco was launched.
Instituted the TBCCI College Outreach Ministries: Judson University
The Jamaica Medical Ministries was established which consists of annual mission trips; serving 650 clients. Annual medical missions are ongoing.
The Jamaica Educational Ministries was initiated. Ongoing development of the ministry continues to expand with serving Kingston, and Spanish Town by providing school supplies, computers and educational support for children and college age students.
TBCCI partnered with LFCF and participated in the Walk for a Cause raising scholarship funding for students in Jamaica.
Instituted the “Game Changers Academy” in partnership with the Love Foundation. The “Game Changers Academy” trains young entrepreneurs in business modeling, strategy and financial literacy.
Established the “Born Beautiful” campaign for young teens focusing on self-esteem, identity, achievement an empowerment.
